Almost every other elegant wood table in the place has by now been covered by tan paper mats with wine glasses and cloth napkins on top. The wooden chairs are nice as well, a solid piece of curved wood for the back and a comfy ash-brown cushion for the seat. Orange crenelated lamp shades hang from above, interspersed with tiny light bulbs sunken into holes that dot the ceiling for a pleasingly subtle lighting effect. The table adjacent to mine was not set for lunch yet and a French couple sit down saying that it's the only table left for coffee. The waitress is a little reluctant to allow them to not order lunch but the place is still relatively empty so she lets them stay.

The coffee came with a black "Florio" cup and saucer and a matching "Florio" tube of granulated sugar. The bill came in a little wicker basket. They will want me to leave soon.
